The 1st of 6 majors in the 2020-21 season kicked off today at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, NY.  What a beautiful, but challenging course where you don't see many under par rounds. Couldn't ask for better golf weather, either! Anyways, enough about the course.

I'm a little late to the party today so I'll be brief. Below are my 1st round picks.

Phil is certainly a huge stretch to the win here, but I liked those odds for a very small wager. Rory on the other hand, coming out 👌. Disclaimer: I hardly ever place anything on outright winners.

This is a super tough course, so I've selected golfers who, in my opinion, are simply playing better golf over their last few tournaments and who do well under pressure (with a few exceptions, but they are better putters 😉).
